Boot your computer from your Windows Vista DVD. Press a key on the keyboard as soon as the message comes prompting you to “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD”.
You will be presented with this screen:
Click Next.
Click “Repair your computer”.
Click Next. It may begin a repair process, or it may skip to other options.
You may see this screen while it is repairing:
Click Cancel.
Click Don’t Send.
Click Finish.
System Restore has the effect of taking you back in time to a previous state. You will have the opportunity to choose a restore point from dates in the past. Just look at which restore points there are to choose from and follow the prompts.
